Tesamorelin (often referred to simply as "Tesa") is a synthetic, 44-amino-acid peptide analogue of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It binds directly to GHRH receptors on the pituitary gland to trigger natural, pulsatile bursts of Human Growth Hormone (hGH). 

While it belongs to the same family as peptides like CJC-1295 and Sermorelin, Tesamorelin possesses a unique molecular structure and specific clinical properties that set it apart.
