The "Wolverine stack" is a combination of two peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, used together to accelerate tissue repair and reduce inflammation. Named after the Marvel comic character known for rapid regeneration, this pairing has gained massive popularity in biohacking, fitness, and alternative recovery circles.

  • BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157): This is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a protective protein naturally found in human stomach acid. It primarily acts locally at the site of injury. It upregulates Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) to trigger angiogenesis (the creation of new blood vessels). Because tendons, ligaments, and cartilage naturally have poor blood supply, this localized increase in microcirculation helps deliver crucial oxygen and nutrients directly to stalled injuries. It also stimulates fibroblast proliferation, which accelerates collagen production for structural repair.
  • TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 Analog): This is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring protein fragment that operates systemically throughout the body. Its primary function is the regulation of actin, a structural protein critical for cell motility and tissue remodeling. When tissue is damaged, TB-500 promotes cell migration, essentially helping repair cells travel to the injury site faster. It also promotes a flexible matrix, helping new muscle or tendon fibers align properly, which reduces the formation of rigid, restrictive scar tissue.
  • The combination is highly discussed because it targets both the vascular and cellular needs of an injury simultaneously:
    1. Vascular + Cellular: BPC-157 builds the blood supply infrastructure, while TB-500 drives the cellular migration and structural remodeling necessary to construct the new tissue.
    2. Local + Systemic: Users often treat BPC-157 as a localized repair signal, while TB-500 offers broad, systemic recovery support across the whole body
